Global chief economist: "Europe is not doing enough to get out of the crisis"

It isn't just about getting back to a pre-covid-19-crisis level, but also about making up for the production that was lost. It is therefore a mistake that the EU is taking its foot off the gas, says Erik Fossing Nielsen, Unicredit's global chief economist.

The verdicts are in, and they are almost unanimous: there are high levels of growth in China and the US, meaning solid growth on the global economy.

In Europe, there is moderate growth that varies widely from country to country, which is also the case in developing economies.
