Large Goldman Sachs survey reveals: Appetite for risk at highest level since 2014

Not since the years following the financial crisis has there been such a big appetite for risk at insurance companies, a new survey conducted by Goldman Sachs shows. "It is a clear picture: risk on," says head of Nordics Thomas Kønig. CIO's are still generally pessimistic about the available investments.

You have to go back 7 years to find a time when insurance companies have been as interested in taking on risk as they are now.

"It is a clear picture: It is risk on," says Thomas Kønig, head of the nordic division of Goldman Sachs Asset Management.
