State Street Global Advisors appoints Continental Europe lead

One of the world's largest asset managers has found new head of institutional clients from Continental Europe from among the firm's own ranks.

State Street Global Advisors (SSGA), the asset management business of State Street Corporation, has announced the appointment of Gerben Lagerwaard as head of Continental Europe, which is part of the US firm's Global Institutional Group, SSGA announes in a statement forwarded to AMWatch.

Lagerwaard joined State Street Global Advisors in 2012 and took over responsibilities overseeing the firm's Benelux region business in 2018.
