Mandatum starts teambuilding for its new AM venture

Mandatum has started recruiting for its forthcoming AM unit. New institutional client director Jussi Tiihonen, calls it a very interesting stage to join the company. "When Mandatum Life's and Sampo's portfolio management teams merge, we will be able to bring, among others, very professionally managed alternative vehicles and loan strategies to our customers," he says to AMWatch.

Mandatum Asset Management has appointed Jussi Tiihonen as its wealth manager, Institutional Clients. The company is the subsidiary and separate asset management unit Finland's Mandatum Group is in the process of launching.

"I'm jumping onto Mandatum's bandwagon at a very interesting stage, when Mandatum Asset Management is being established to accompany Mandatum's life insurance business," Tiihonen writes AMWatch.
