New CEO readies European wealth manager for further Nordic expansion

Quintet Private Bank's new CEO for the Nordics, Ole Jensby, says the firm will soon be reeling in the bank's first Swedish advisors to be based in Luxembourg. Explaining his management style as like being a "playing coach", he also floats the idea of opening an additional office in Denmark less than 12 months after launching the first branch.

Luxembourg-headquartered Quintet Private Bank recently announced that it had promoted experienced wealth manager Ole Jensby to CEO of its Nordic operations amid its regional expansion.

In an interview with AMWatch, the new head of the Nordics says Quintet Private Bank wants to continue investing heavily in its Nordic operations to challenge existing providers of wealth management services like major regional banks. Jensby, however, underlines that this is a long-term strategy.
