Industry titans prepare for ETF battle as new needs and interests take shape

The ETF space is evolving, along with investors' needs. Three industry insiders tell AMWatch about the topic of ESG-themed exchange-traded funds gaining traction, but also about some of the other niche trends starting to develop.

The ETF industry has been growing for years, and this trend shows no sign of slowing down if recent industry forecasts are anything to go by.

New research by consultancy ETFGI suggests that assets in European ETFs and ETPs reached a record USD 1.33trn at the end of February. Investors put USD 22.15bn into the industry last month.
