Wealth manager with expansion plans names new CEO for Nordics

Quintet Private Bank has named its new Nordic CEO, who returns to Denmark after a decade spent in Luxembourg. The wealth management bank's Copenhagen branch has seen its staff double in less then 12 months – and is already looking to hire more.

Luxembourg-based Quintet Private Bank has promoted Ole Jensby to serve as chief executive for the Nordics, replacing former CEO for the region Søren Kjær who has left the company.

Jensby will focus on growing Quintet's book of clients in Denmark, Sweden and Finland. At the same time, he will lead the wealth management bank's long-term Northern European expansion through organic and semi-organic initiatives, as well as potential acquisitions, the bank writes in a press statement.
