Former Odin CIO "formally establishes" investment company

Vegard Søraunet left the role of CIO and fund manager of Norwegian firm Odin Fonder in June last year. His new investment company is formally established and has an advisory board consisting of former Nordea and Ikea chiefs.

Søraunet was at Odin Fonder for 14 years but left in June to manage money for the Fredriksen shipping dynasty in Norway. He named Swedish investment company Latour as a key inspiration.

The company managing the money of billionaire John Fredriksen and family is formally named Aeternum Capital, according to a company statement, reports Swedish daily Dagens Industri on Tuesday.
