Capital Group bets on family offices for new fund

The US asset manager expects Nordic family offices and wealth managers to be interested in its new European fund, says its Northern European lead.

US-based Capital Group has launched a Luxembourg-domiciled UCITS fund of its 28-year old European Opportunities fund, which was previously only available as a segregated account in Europe.

Capital Group's Managing Director Benelux, Northern Europe and Middle East, Feike Goudsmit, expects Nordic investors like family offices, pension funds and wealth managers to be interested in the strategy, he tells AMWatch.
