Finnish AM giant beefs up market share as new private investors flock to pick sustainable funds

In 2020, OP Financial Group's private and SME customers invested almost 80 percent more in sustainability-themed funds and index funds than in the previous year.

In Finland, assets under management at the country's second largest asset manager, OP Financial Group, grew to EUR 89.1bn from EUR 83.1bn over the past year.

Whilst assets under management in the group's investment funds reached EUR 27.6bn, up from EUR 25.6bn, institutional assets under management increased to EUR 25.3bn from EUR 24.4bn.
