Nordea's asset management records highest net inflow since 2016

ESG products contributed 70 percent of net inflow in the fourth quarter, Nordea Group states in its fresh quarterly results.

Assets under management at Nordea's wealth and asset management operations reached all-time highs of EUR 354bn over the last quarter of 2020, up 9 percent from EUR 325bn at the end of 2019.

The company also recorded the highest quarterly net inflow of EUR 8.2bn since the third quarter of 2016, and the second highest ever. Annualized new flows as percentage of assets under management went down to -4 percent over the first quarter, but totaled to 10 percent over the fourth quarter.
