Success stories pull new breed of investors to Nordic small caps, top managers say

Increased interest in small caps, also among local retail investors, is positive news, but with so many investors pouring into illiquid markets these days can also push market values up, says portfolio manager of Aktia's two small cap funds.

There is increasing interest in Nordic small cap funds among institutional investors outside the region, say portfolio managers of Aktia Nordic Micro Cap and Aktia Nordic Small Cap.

The two funds are managed by Jan Brännback and Janne Lähdesmäki in Helsinki. A lion's share of investors in the fund are currently Finnish institutional investors.
