Sherpa Edge hires chief trader

Copenhagen-based outsourced trading specialist firm Sherpa Edge has hired a former Sparinvest and Danske Markets credit trader for the role of chief trader.

Copenhagen-based fintech Sherpa Edge has hired Frank Lynge Jensen for the role of chief trader. Sherpa Edge is an outsourced trading desk for the Nordic buy side. As a means to reduce costs, asset managers have increasingly started outsourcing trading in the wake of the ongoing pandemic.

"I am confident that our offer will be well received in the Nordics. We see the need for outsourced trading, so that the portfolio managers don’t have to spend the bulk of their time executing in illiquid and challenging markets," Lynge Jensen writes to  AMWatch.
