New Nordic investors join Taaleri's solar and wind fund

The first seven investments which Taaleri's SolarWind II fund has secured are ready to build wind farms in Finland, Norway, the US, Poland and a solar farm in Spain. Managing Director Kai Rintala of Taaleri Energia expects that the current investment pace will continue next year.

Taaleri SolarWind II fund has held a third closing with approximately EUR 320m in total commitments, the company announces.

The third-close investors include Obligo Global Infrastuktur II Fund from the Stockholm and Oslo-based asset management company, the pension fund at the Finnish Broadcasting Company YLE, the Nordic Environment Finance Corporation (NEFCO), institutional and high net worth investors and Taaleri Group itself. Additionally, the Finnish Church Pension Fund joined the fund in June 2020.
