Top-performing Danske AM fund manager leaves after less than three years

Danske Bank Asset Management waves goodbye to a senior portfolio manager whose fund has outpaced its benchmark by double-digits since its 2018 launch.

Senior portfolio manager at Danske Bank Asset Management Petter Löfqvist is leaving this Danish asset manager, which he has announced on Linkedin. As previously covered by AMWatch, Löfqvist was hired in April 2018 to establish the Swedish small cap fund Danske Invest Sverige Småbolag.

Since launching in August 2018, Löfqvist and his team have outperformed their benchmark, Carnegie Small Cap Return Index (net dividends reinvested), by 14.7 percent, according to Danske's own fact sheet.
