Carnegie Fonder has appointed Anna Strömberg as its new head of sustainability and manager of the company's Tillväxt Sverige fund.

Strömberg joins the company from Catella Capital, where she has been working as a portfolio and sustainability manager since 2016. Prior to that, she worked as a portfolio manager at Nordea for 16 year. Strömberg, who has a master's degree in finance from Stockholm University, is also a board member at Swesif, Sweden's forum for responsible investments.

At Carnegie Fonder, she will be responsible for managing the company's all cap fund, be in charge of Carnegie Fonder's overall responsibility work and chair the company's Council for Responsible Investment.

"Strömberg is an experienced manager who also has cutting-edge knowledge of sustainability issues. It is a unique combination that will enhance Carnegie Fonder's sustainability work in all asset classes and markets," says CEO Hans Hedström in a statement.

At the same time as the Strömberg recruitment, Carnegie has also created a new role within responsible investments. The company's risk and performance analyst David Östman will take on a newly established position as a sustainability analyst.
