Former Nordnet CEO launches venture capital fund

Confidus Venture Capital, which got its operational license from the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority last week, plans to invest in two tech-unicorn companies a year.

Peter Dahlgren, the ex CEO of Nordnet and former CEO of Life and Pension at SEB, has launched Confidus – a venture capital fund that invests in technology unicorns.

Confidus Venture Capital, which got its operational license from the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority last week, will invest in two new companies every year with the support of Dahlgren's family office Familjen Dahlgren Invest. Aside from Peter Dahlgren, the investment team consists of Tara Dahlgren, Roland Nilsson and Erlend Reitan.
