Alecta improves performance after negative Q2

Sweden's largest occupational pension provider's defined benefit and defined contribution schemes both pulled in positive returns over the third quarter.

Assets managed by Sweden's largest occupational pension provider Alecta reached SEK 1007bn (EUR 97.1bn) at the end of the third quarter, going up from EUR 92.1bn at the end of the first half this year, which the company announces in its interim result today.

Alecta runs two pension schemes for some 2.5 million pension savers.
