World's fourth-largest asset manager in triple climate equity push

State Street Global Advisors is launching three climate equity funds for investors looking to reduce climate risk in their portfolios.

State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) has launched a global, a US and a European equity fund targeting Paris-aligned reductions in carbon emissions, the company announces.

The multi-trillion dollar asset manager thus follows the example of several asset managers, such as Swedbank Robur, in launching funds whose primary objective, aside from beating their benchmarks, is to invest in companies that can assist in the race towards the objectives of the Paris Agreement.
