ATP launches new private equity fund, opens for external investors

ATP has established its seventh private equity fund with a capital commitment of EUR 800m. Denmark's largest investor is examining the waters to figure out which other institutional investors might be interested in entering into a parallel fund managed by ATP's private equity team.

Denmark’s pensions giant ATP has established its seventh fund under its private equity subsidiary ATP Private Equity Partners (ATP PEP). The new fund has a capital commitment of EUR 800m.

The investment strategy for the fund known as ATP PEP VII will largely be identical to the company’s previous funds, with a special focus on private equity funds in Europe and North America and co-investments with these funds, ATP explains in a statement.
