Danske Bank reels in bond market specialist after brief advisory spree

Danske Bank hires a long-term fixed income portfolio manager to oversee a Swedish bond fund after two years in advisory roles. He has missed the action in the capital markets over the past two years, he tells AMWatch.

Jannis Asdres, previously a long-time portfolio manager at Swedish state buffer fund AP3, returns to his core competence after a two-year spree at the advisory market.

Asdres joins Danske Bank from the fund distributor House of Reach and will now serve as the new senior portfolio manager, responsible for Danske Bank’s Swedish long bond fund, and will provide his overall expertise in managing rates and credit portfolios.
