Institutional client director sees asset owners tweak manager searches in Covid-19

AM Series: New manager searches started to pick up up when the historic first half of 2020 drew to a close. Many of the new searches, however, are more demarcated than prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, according to Stefan Laszlo, executive director institutional client relationship at Dutch asset manager Robeco.

Nordic asset owners have increasingly started to conduct more manager searches for dedicated ESG and impact strategies relative to the turn of the year, according to Stefan Laszlo, executive director institutional client relationship at Dutch asset manager Robeco.

He expects that searches for dedicated sustainable strategies will continue to pick up due to these funds having generally fared well during the worst weeks of the coronavirus crisis.
