Bankinvest gets new head of marketing and communications

After cuts to the entire organization, asset manager Bankinvest has appointed a new head of marketing and communications, which are being combined. They already worked closely together, says the new department head.

Bankinvest, which manages a number of listed investment funds, has chosen a leader for the combined marketing and communications department: Vevika Søberg, who was head of marketing.

The department merger is part of a series of cuts to the asset manager's organization, driven by the corona downturn. Bankinvest's board decided to eliminate nine positions in May. One of these was the head of communications role, which Dag Holmstad had had since 2009. Another was the role of head of administrative company BI Management, which Malene Ehrenskjold was forced to leave.
