Taaleri launches Finland's first open impact fund

The main challenges related to impact investments are that the offering of more mature investment targets remains limited and that understanding of impact investing is still rather patchy, says Taaleri's director Pekka Samuelsson.

Taaleri is launching the first open impact fund registered in Finland.

Taaleri Impact is partly a fund-of-funds, and partly a conventional open-end investment fund. It will invest in green bonds, Blue Orchard’s microfinance fund, Taaleri’s own wind and solar energy fund as well as in listed stocks of companies focusing on, for example, renewable energy.
