Investment firm buys majority stake in Catella Fondförvaltning

The two companies plan to expand their product range and shift the customer base towards larger institutional clients.

Swedish investment firm Athanase Industrial Partner is to acquire 70 percent of Catella Fondförvaltning (CFF) from Sweden’s Catella AB.

The cash consideration will total EUR 12-15m (SEK 126-154m) depending on Catella Fondförvaltning's development until the transaction date. The consideration corresponds to the consolidated enterprise value of the company, the two companies say in a statement.
