First Fondene: It is a strong signal for the markets

First Fondene believes that a longer-term normalization period will no longer be tolerated as well by the market, and that it is almost completely certain that the worst point is behind us. The money manager has a neutral equity weight.

"The equity and credit markets have grown significantly during May and into June. Throughout May, we have seen the reopening of economies on both sides of the Atlantic, so far without a serious increase in corona cases," writes Erik Haugland, CEO and manager at Norwegian asset manager First Fondene in its market report.

The market report for May shows that there has been somewhat of a party on the stock exchanges in Norway, as the Oslo exchange is up by 13 percent.
