Simcorp publicizes new, lower expectations: Earnings are in decline

Software company Simcorp has increased its topline during the first quarter of 2020, while earnings have decreased, according to the first accounting report of the year.

In connection with the release of their quarterly budget report, Simcorp announced its new predictions for 2020, after suspending its original expectations on March 18 due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Simcorp now expects negative revenue growth of 5 percent in 2020, or five percent in positive growth measured in local currencies, and the operations margin, EBIT, is now expected to be between 22 and 27 percent when measured in local currencies.
