Nordic funds regain popularity among Finnish investors

Equity funds investing in other Nordic countries received EUR 26 million of new capital in April, a notable improvement on the situation in March.

The avalanche of redemptions from mutual funds registered in Finland caused by the covid-19 pandemic subsided in April, reports Finance Finland.

A net total of EUR 408 million was redeemed from funds in Finland, but total fund capital increased due to favorable market developments, figures published by the Finnish financial lobbying organization show. The total fund capital at the end of April was EUR 112 billion, compared to EUR 106 billion at the end of March.
