Nordic sales head celebrates ten years at MFS Investment Management and reflects on career

Career path: Per Künow moved to London in 1995 and has been there ever since. He tells AMWatch how a childhood fascination for finance turned into a long career working with Nordic sales at large international asset managers in the City.

Which career path did you envision for yourself when you were younger?

"I grew up in Farum outside of Copenhagen, where I finished high school. It was a somewhat strange experience; school was over and I didn't know what was next. One of my relatives was working in a brokerage firm and I was kind of fascinated by his job so I knew early on that I wanted to do something within the financial industry, but I wasn't really sure what role I was aiming for. I also knew at the time that if an opportunity to work and live abroad came up I would go for it!
