Nordea Asset Management (NAM) has created a new role, Chief Technology Officer (CTO), to lead the roughly 80 people that work with technology at the prominent investment manager.

The new role has been created because the ability to manage and safeguard data in various forms is becoming an increasingly important competitive factor within the asset management industry, Ulrik Modigh, NAM's Head of Operation and Technology, says to AMWatch.
