Goldman Sachs wins investment tender with LD Fonde

The US-based investment firm wins an EU tender, and will invest the first EUR 200 million in a new agreement with LD Fonde from this spring.

International investment bank Goldman Sachs has won an asset management contract for a smart beta strategy with Danish pension fund LD Fonde over 18 other investment firms in an EU tender, reveals a press release.

Goldman Sachs won, among other things, based on its ability to deliver a "documented and academically supported strategy" in the form of transparent and understandable portfolio constructions based on defined style factors.
