Net inflows to funds registered in Finland drop dramatically

In February, some EUR 61 million was redeemed from funds investing in Nordic equities, and EUR 67 million from funds investing in Finnish equities.

New capital invested in funds registered in Finland dropped significantly in February compared to the net inflow in January, figures published by Finance Finland, the Finnish financial lobbying organization, indicate. While funds received a net inflow of EUR 1.55 billion in January, in February the sum dropped to EUR 107 million.

Finance Finland states that fund capital decreased due to stock market developments. The total value of fund assets stood at EUR 123 billion at the end of the month, compared to EUR 127 billion at the end of January.
