Nordea is helping business clients – but still sees the corona effect as temporary

Nordea in Denmark is not waiting until businesses that experience problems because of the coronavirus contact the bank, says head of business clients Bjørn Bøje Jensen to FinansWatch. The economic effects of the coronavirus are still considered to be a passing phenomenon.

Nordea has proactively made contact with a number of business clients particularly exposed to the negative effects of the coronavirus, says Bjørn Bøje Jensen, who is responsible for business clients in Denmark.

The work Nordea has done over the past few weeks has consisted of two phases, which Jensen calls the 'China phase' and the 'consumer behavior phase'.
