Irish-UK asset manager eyes Nordic wind investments

After a series of years buying new and used wind farms in Ireland, Greencoat Renewables is now looking to invest in the Nordic region.

Dublin-based investor Greencoat Renewables, the infrastructure arm of London-domiciled asset manager Greencoat Capital, acquired three new wind farms in 2019.

This brought the firm's total wind capacity up to 462 MW, exclusively located in Ireland, where Greencoat Renewables has secured a leading position through the purchase of both new and older wind facilities.
