Fondita's Europe fund pulls in record result after sustainability makeover

Last spring's complete makeover included a name change, a new key priority and a revamp of the portfolio, reports Helsingin Sanomat.

Fondita’s Sustainable Europe fund pulled in a record return after a thorough makeover last year, which made sustainability the key guiding principle of the fund, reports Helsingin Sanomat (HS) daily.

Sustainability was chosen as the fund’s new focus in May, and its contents were updated accordingly. The European Top Picks fund, launched in 2011, became Fondita Sustainable Europe. The fund divested from its investments and made new investments in stocks of European companies focused on sustainable businesses, HS reports.
