MP Pension ready to take more mandates after attention-grabbing victory

It isn't every day that a pension company nabs an investment mandate in competition with several asset managers. But this is what happened for MP Pension, who recently beat rivals because of its approach to sustainability and active ownership. The door is open for more customers, says MP's CEO.

It was something of a surprise when pension fund MP Pension won a large Danish equity mandate of EUR 227 million (DKK 1.7 billion) from LD Fonde, right before the eyes of six other Danish asset managers.

Pension companies tend to be the ones issuing the mandates - not bidding on them.
