A consortium of Korean institutional investors has concluded an agreement to buy Taaleri Energia's shares in the Nyby and Myllykangas wind farms near Oulu, Northern Finland. The purchase, which was announced on the last day of 2019, is expected to be completed this month.
The Korean investors are led by Hana Financial Investments, which is one of the largest financial groups in the country, and Korea Investment & Securities, a securities company with a range of asset management and investment banking services. The companies are providing both the debt and equity for the transaction and will invest in the windfarms via funds managed by NH Amundi and IBK Asset Management.
