Goldman Sachs invests in real estate developer's prestige project in Copenhagen suburb

After months of capital hunting, Gefion has succeeded in getting the US-based asset manager on board in its prestige project, Rødovre Port. Goldman Sachs may own the housing after completion, says the CEO of Gefion to EjendomsWatch.

The large US investor Goldman Sachs has entered into a joint venture with Gefion Group over the project developer's prestige project, Rødovre Port, to the tune of DKK 1.5bn (EUR 200m).

For months, the Danish developer has tried to find capital for the project, which will become a new area of Rødovre municipality. The project encompasses 37,500 square meters and 534 living spaces for rent.
