A glimpse inside Storebrand flagship fund:"Once you have looked at products and services, then you look at process"

In an investment framework shaped by the SDGs, the Norwegian asset manager's global solutions strategy aims to beat the market through investments in companies with products and services that seek to meet the 17 goals. AMWatch met its fund manager to get a glimpse into his decision-making process on investment targets.

Over the past several months, Storebrand Asset Management has made several of its funds available outside its home markets of Norway and Sweden. One of the flagship strategies in its offering is the equity strategy Global Solutions.

The fund was listed in Denmark roughly seven months ago and has started to see some inflow from Danish investors even though most of the strategy's EUR 645m in assets stem from the home markets, says its fund manager Philip Ripman.

Presently, the inflow to Global Solutions from outside Norway and Sweden amounts to 3 percent.
