Global asset manager with big Nordic ambitions shakes up exec management team

After a year as CIO for US-headquartered Nuveen, Jose Minaya is set to replace current Chief Exec, who will be new Chairman.

Nuveen, which recently opened a Copenhagen office following three years of strong regional growth, has announced that its current CIO Jose Minaya is to replace current CEO Vijay Advani effective January 13, 2020, when Advani becomes Executive Chairman.

As CEO, Minaya will lead the firm’s day-to-day operations, including oversight of investment management teams and client businesses, the company writes in a statement.
