Less bureaucracy and more strategic overview lured WM heavyweight into new role at European private banking specialist

Despite his history of executive roles at JP Morgan and UBS since 1982, earlier this year smaller market player KBL epb lured Jakob Stott to become second in command and reunite with a former senior companion. The idea of spending less time on corporate bureaucracy and more on customers was attractive, he explains to AMWatch.

In May, news broke that Luxembourg-based bank KBL European Private Bankers (KBL epb) had appointed Danish Jakob Stott as CEO of Private Banking.

In this role, the long-term wealth management specialist was once again to work alongside his long-term senior Jürg Zeltner, who had joined KBL epb as Group CEO.
