Funds share experiences on infrastructure investments amid hunt for yield

Three Nordic pension funds with a total AUM of EUR 100bn shared their experiences on infrastructure investments at the Nordic Investment Outlook conference in Stockholm last Wednesday, organized by the FT.

The Grand Hotel in Stockholm provided a backdrop for the Nordic Investment Outlook conference last week, organized by the Financial Times. One session revolved around ways for institutional investors to find yield with infrastructure investments.

Swedish pension fund AMF Head of Infrastructure Investments Frederik Lundeborg started off by saying that he looks into a project's characteristics and cash flow profile when assessing a potential  investment and its risk profile. He added that his team looks to power and renewables, as these fit the pension fund's profile.
