Pension funds' infrastructure initiative appoints CEO

Swedish state pension funds' infrastructure investment firm has appointed CEO.

In April, the three Swedish state-controlled pension funds AP1, AP3 and AP4 decided to collaborate on investments in infrastructure to contain costs. This resulted in the formation of a company entitled Polhem Infra.

Polhem Infra has now appointed Mikael Lundin as CEO and thus responsible for deploying the firm's EUR 838.7m in committed capital. AP1, AP3 and AP4 have each committed EUR 279.6m to investments in Swedish infrastructure.
