Sparinvest’s ESG engagement brings oil company to meet Nordic investors

The asset manager had invited one of the world's major oil companies to Denmark to discuss fossil fuel production and its associated ESG challenges alongside investors and ESG rating agencies.

Before the summer holiday, Sparinvest's credit team hosted its first investor meeting on ESG disclosures.

As part of the program, the asset manager had invited Russian oil company Rosneft to Denmark to discuss the transition towards a low-carbon future to reach the climate change goals set out in the Paris Agreement.
