Sustainable investing has undergone four phases in the past decade, argues AXA Investment Managers duo. "This is only the beginning and over the next few years, the market will see a number of new methodologies for this purpose as the field of sustainable investing matures," CIO argues.

As AXA Investment Management Global Head of Impact and Responsible Investment, Matt Christensen is responsible to ensure that everybody in the organization – from the CEO to fund managers and analysts – adopt the company’s ambition on sustainable investing.

This is why he spends much of his time educating staff and developing new ways to integrate responsible investing in the corporate culture – he has even created a web-based game. "Also, we are currently integrating ESG into our private market strategies and private equity schemes," he says to AMWatch.
