A 25-year-old business manager of Danske Bank’s Norwegian Wealth Management unit encourages young people to apply for jobs even if they are not a perfect match on paper. According to business daily Dagens Næringsliv, she is the youngest member of the unit’s management group to date.

When Norwegian Emilie Willoch Frøyland had worked for Danske Bank in Oslo for 18 months, there was an internal job ad about a management position.

The job required several years of management experience, which she did not have, but this was her dream job.
