Sampension boosts forestry portfolio with big acquisition

An US forest is going to contribute to the diversification of Sampension’s investment portfolio.

Danish pension company Sampension has decided to invest "a large, triple-digit million sum" [DKK, -ed.] in a forest located in the US state of Oregon, the pension fund writes in a press release.

Sampension encompasses Sampension Liv, Arkitekternes Pensionskasse and Pensionskassen for Jordbrugsakademikere & Dyrlæger, all of which have all joined to buy into the roughly 170 km2 forest.
