Nordic PE and venture regain momentum following H2 slowdown

Valuations have become quite high, according to Argentum Asset Management's CEO, Joachim Høegh-Krohn, who still eyes a favorable development throughout 2019.

Argentum Asset Management, a EUR 1.4bn Oslo-based investor in Nordic and Northern European private market funds, monitors all Nordic private equity and venture capital transactions. Insights gained from these observations are transformed into annual reports about the state of Nordic private markets.

The first half of 2018 was strong, but there was a significant slowdown in the second half, as turmoil in listed markets had a spillover effect to its private counterpart.
