Nordic-backed PE fund hits EUR 1bn hard cap in hunt for growth companies

The Nordics is one of the main targets for private equity firm Keensight Capital's fifth fund after making its initial Nordic investment in 2018.

Danish pension fund P+ and a large Finnish institution are among the investors in the fund Keensight V by Paris-based private equity managers Keensight Capital.

The fund hits its first -- and final -- closing at EUR 1bn hard cap, exceeding the initial target of EUR 750m. 90 percent of the subscriptions stem from institutional investors, such as asset managers, pension funds, insurance companies, banks and sovereign wealth funds.
