SPP Funds sees growing appetite for sustainable funds

Money keeps pouring into SPP's funds as institutional demand for sustainable funds soars.

Sweden's SPP Funds had a net inflow of approximately SEK 11 billion (EUR 1 billion) last year. The sum represents roughly 20 percent of the total net inflows in the Swedish mutual fund market in 2018.

"As all of our funds are sustainable, our inflow is a strong indicator of the increased interest in sustainable investments," Johanna Landberg, head of sustainability at SPP Funds, tells AMWatch.  

SPP Funds' client base is mainly institutional. At the end of 2018, SPP Funds' total assets under management stood at SEK 185 billion (EUR 17.5 billion).
